In Michaela Community School from London, Katherine Birbalsingh, the school’s principal, decided to get parents to pay for lunch in a very unusual, and, we are pretty sure, illegal way. Take a look.

If parents don’t pay £75 or $97, their kids go into something called “lunch isolation” and have limited food. One parent, Dionne Kelly, posted a picture of the letter she received from the school.
