1. The Ancient City Of Hierapolis, Pamukkale, Turkey
Hierapolis, located on hot springs in southwestern Anatolia, was believed to have been founded by the god Apollo. The city is known as Pluto's Gate, entrance to the underworld. It is written at the entrance that whoever enters it will die. In 2013, there were toxic gases coming out of the door temple and archaeologists who were working there at the time confirmed to have seen birds falling dead from the sky.
