NYPD posted these photos to warn us about sleeping with a charging phone. When you put a charging phone between a pillow and a bad, it can cause batteries to overheat and possibly catch fire or even explode.

That way, the heat can distribute evenly and prevent warm-up of the battery. When battery heats up, it could melt and sometimes even explode. Worst case scenario - it could cause a fire.
