How many times have you thought you lost your phone only because it was on mute? How many times have you searched everywhere just to find it in the strangest place possible? We all know how frustrating this can be but this won't happen to you ever again if you follow these few easy steps.
They Are Always by Our Side
Most of us have our cell phones with us all the time, and we can't spend more than two minutes without them.
But What to Do When They Are Lost?
When you lose you phone, googling is the last thing on your mind. We all know Google has a lot to offer but did you know it can help you locate your lost phone?
Go to Google search bar and just enter the phrase "Find my phone."
Sign in to Your Account
If you are not logged into your account, do that step first because your laptop or a PC account is connected to the account on your phone.
Location Location Location
Google will find your phone, and it will show you its location by using Google maps.
Call Your Phone
It's important to be patient and give Google some time to do everything right. After you finish locating it and it turns out it's in your home, start Android Device Manager and click on "Ring." This option will enable you to call your phone using Google.
You Will Hear Your Phone Ringing
Even if it's on mute, your phone will ring until you turn it down by using the power button.
After you're finished, do not forget to turn off the Android Device Manager. This nifty little trick also works with tablets and even iPhones, but you will have to use your iCloud account and app called "Find my iPhone."
