It Turns Out the Guy Who Caught All 151 Pokémon Is a Cheater
Remember Nick Johnson, the first guy who claimed that he finished Pokémon GO and caught all the Pokémon in the US in only 2 weeks?
If you've ever played Pokémon GO, you know that leveling up gets harder after level 20 and that the highest level is 40. Nick got to level 31, and he caught 142 Pokémon, but couldn't fully complete the game because some Pokémon could only be found in countries outside the US.
Recently, some news shook the Pokémon GO world. A fan on Reddit claimed that he caught 151 Pokémon and that he got to level 40, completing the whole deck. Did he travel around the world to finish the game? Not exactly. He cheated, and here's how he did it.
It's Incredibly Hard to 'Catch 'Em All'
They can only be found in distant areas such as Japan, Europe, and even Australia. Which means that, to complete the game without cheating, you'd have to travel a lot.
A user called Problemz revealed his secret in a thread posted on Reddit: he stunned everyone with his incredible stats, but then he revealed he was cheating.
How Did He Get to Level 40?
The Reddit user got to the highest level in the game, but he said that he used a bot to complete the game.
"First of all, I want you to tell that I was using a Bot. Obviously. I don't want to tell you how to use a bot and won't answer anything related to that. I purely went for XP/h. Nothing else. I used a total of 131 Eggs ( 5x 25 Pack – and I think 6 from leveling)".
