New Zealand's Coastline Gets a Completely New Look after a Massive Earthquake

On November 16th, 2016, New Zeland was struck by a powerful earthquake. Its magnitude was 7.8, and it changed the coastline forever. Unfortunately, two people died after the earthquake caused the sea floor to rise to 6.5 feet and to hit the coastline with a massive force.

New Zealand experienced an earthquake like no other on November 16. It caused the seabed to lift. A marine geologist said he has never seen anything like it.
