5. Inhabitable Europa
Lorenz Roth is one of the researchers who believe that Europa could be inhabitable. He argues: "This means that future investigations can directly investigate the chemical makeup of Europa’s potentially habitable environment without drilling through layers of ice."
6. Why Is This Subsurface Ocean so Important?
Steve Levin claims: "We think Jupiter’s icy moon Europa has a subsurface ocean of liquid water; and because everywhere on Earth that we’ve found water, we’ve also found life, this is a good place for us to search."
This conference will feature an astronomer, William Sparks, an astrophysicist from NASA, Paul Hertz, a professor from Atlanta, Britney Schmidt and a scientist who works on the Hubble project, Jennifer Wiseman. Everyone hopes for an exciting revelation, but we'll just have to wait and see.
