There was an interesting NASA conference on the 26th of September about Europa, Jupiter's moon. Scientists seem pretty excited about it and it looks like they have good reason to be. Let's see why.
Hubble Space Telescope captured several images that confirm the idea of the possibility of extraterrestrial life.
Ocean Beneath the Surface?
A spokesperson from NASA stated: "Astronomers will present results from a unique observing campaign that resulted in surprising evidence of activity that may be related to the presence of a subsurface ocean on Europa."
When people hear "extraterrestrial life," they assume it means ET or a similar being. However, NASA had to disappoint all who hoped to hear that they found "little green men."
Search for Life
NASA has been looking for places in the Solar System besides Earth, where life can develop and be sustained. That's when they found "water plumes" on Europa.
