We all love flip-flops, and when we see people wearing them down the street, we know that summer has arrived!

Summer is the time of the year when we can hardly imagine our lives without them. They are much more practical than regular slippers or sandals, and if you spend a little more money, they'll be much more comfortable.

A recent story about a woman and her foot condition has brought to light some problems that are caused by wearing flip-flops.

Like many other women, Cindy couldn't wait for summer so she can get out of her winter boots and go to her favorite type of shoes: flip-flops.

She always thought that she was making a healthy and logical choice of footwear. "I walked everywhere in them, and thought they were a sensible choice," she admitted. "I'd wear them at home, at work - anywhere. I've never been a high-heels girl."
