How to Tell the Difference Between a Healthy Organic Egg and a GMO

Eating healthy is important, as our choice of diet can have a great impact on our health. Organic eggs are made by hens in farms that feed them with natural grains without added fertilizers, pesticides, antibiotics and hormones.

When you buy those eggs, you often look for them in the supermarket, but did you know that you have no guarantee that those eggs are actually free range? And another even more baffling fact is that you don't really know what is going on in those free range farms.

The product that you buy might say that it is free range, but the reality could be a lot different, for example, the hens that live on those farms could not be permitted to go outside, and the facilities they were located in could have artificial lighting.

Here's a useful way to spot a healthy egg yolk from those that aren't.

Whether an egg is healthy or not can be determined by the color of its yolk.

Many 'organic' products are deceiving you and that includes eggs. The best thing to do is to buy them from a local farm, where you know what the farmers are actually doing and where you can see the facilities.

And if that's not possible, you can follow an experiment that was made to show you how to tell if the eggs you're buying are organic.
