12 Things We Believe Are True Because of Movies

Movies are fun, they can make us feel and think and generally enjoy ourselves. However, being completely true is not the first thing on the list when it comes to movies.
1. CCTV Cameras
If you only gather information from the movies, you might think that people that work for the government can gain access to any CCTV camera out there and that they can do in in several minutes. Even if they did have an access, it would take a lot more time to actually do that. Also, you'd need passwords and ID codes for every camera you need.
When the bullet hits you, you fly off your feet right away, right? Well, not exactly. The bullet would do you damage, that's for sure, but it wouldn't get you to fly to the other side of the room.
In movies, all the uniformed personnel have perfect uniforms that look custom made. First, that would be too expensive, and second, even if it was custom made, those wouldn't be made to fit perfectly, because the close fit wouldn't be very good for jumping and running.
Everyone saw defibrillation being performed in a movie. The patient has a flat line and a couple of really good looking doctors jump in and use the paddles to bring him back to life. Only, in real life, you can only use the defibrillator to recover the rhythm from an irregular one to regular one, not from nonexistent to regular.
